RENTBOY POOL PARTY WEEKEND

Well, I am just now winding down from the festivities of last weekend. The Rentboy Pool Party Weekend in Fort Lauderdale was certainly a lot of fun and a lot of work too! The weekend kicked off at Boardwalk Bar on Friday night with a VIP party and everyone attending had a great time.

Saturday marked the big day and even though attendance was down over last year, everyone had a great time and there were close to about 200 attendees throughout the day. We were also lucky that the rain did not come until about 6PM when the party was starting to end anyway. Attending this years pool party were porn stars: Diesel Washington, RJ Danvers, Nick Capra, Jorden Michaels, Kameron Scott, MJ Taylor, Robert VanDamme, Nick Cross, Steven Ponce, Cody Springs, Billy Davidson, Clint Wold, Sean Preston and many Rentboys. The event was hosted by Misty Eyez who looked fabulous bathing in the pool all day. All I can say is that the music was hopping and the boys were beautiful. Satyrday night everyone gathered at Boardwalk Bar for the After Party and it was a BLAST!

On Sunday everyone gathered back at the Windamar Beach Club for the Recovery Party and some much needed R&R during the day. Sunday night marked the final party at VooDoo Lounge where Diesel Washington and Robert VanDamme took to the stage and wowed the crowd. Later on the other Rentboy's and Porn Stars got up on stage and gave a nice show for large crowd.

Raging Stallion Studios Exclusive - Ricky "The Hammer Sinz" - wowed the crowds over 4th of July Weekend at Boardwalk Bar, Fort Lauderdale where he was performing as part of the ManHunt.net 7 Sexy Sinz Tour.

Ricky may have a "Bad Ass" look about him, but I can truly say that he is a super nice guy. His "Bad Ass" looks sometimes provoke people to act aggressively towards him and this past weekend was no exception. One obnoxious drunk guy had the balls to call him a "Pussy" while he was on stage and was promptly escorted out of the bar! Another drunk mess, we refer to as the "Peppermint Terrorist" took a handful of peppermints from the front door of the club and hurled them through the crowd and onto the stage while Ricky was performing. What an asshole! Credit goes to club management for quickly ejecting these obnoxious asses and even more credit goes to Ricky for maintaining his cool and giving the fans exceptional shows every night. Aside from these two drunk messes, Ricky's fans were thrilled with his shows. I overheard one person say "Wow, not only is he totally hot...but he can really dance too! I can just imagine how much fun he would be in bed." Ricky has been working in clubs for many years as a go-go dancer and regularly appears in clubs in his hometown of Chicago when not touring around the world. As a matter of fact, Ricky will be traveling to Moscow later this summer to appear and will be the first US Porn Star to appear in Russia! Having won more awards this year at the GAYVN's and GRABBY Awards than any other porn star it is no wonder he is in high demand. Happy Independence Day!

As we all celebrate today, it is also a time to reflect back on the freedom's that we have all become so accustomed to living here in the "Land of the Free." Or is it?

After just visiting Eastern Europe for the 1st time and experiencing a culture of people that have recently gained their freedom over Communistic oppression, I can honestly say that I found a renewed sense of what freedom is really about. You see, here in America we sometimes walk around with blinders on and more often than not we take our personal freedom's for granted. In Eastern Europe, I saw a people who were not only proud of their culture, heritage and history but also found a culture of tolerance and acceptance that is NOT found here in the USA. In general, the people of Eastern Europe are totally supportive and open when it comes to human rights and that means a culture of acceptance for people of color, religion and sexual orientation. How refreshing! It is hard to believe that in 2008, the majority of people in the USA cannot get past their own issues to allow for a truly FREE nation.

So, as I celebrate today it is my hope that one day the USA will truly embrace what Freedom truly means and we will have a society free of oppression.

Ever since I lived in Italy in the mid 90's, I have had a strong fascination for the beauty and history of sculpture, monuments and statues. As a photographer, I find them to be amazing subjects and my hope is to compile a large collection of these images for future exhibition. After all, it was these magnificent pieces of art that inspired me start shooting images in the 1st place. Whether they are free standing, attached to a building or found in an ancient graveyard...there is a certain beauty that resonates in all of them.
